EGYTPAIR is the only airline operating nonstop flights between the United States and Egypt. Alongside its established services from New York, Newark and Washington, D.C., the airline launched Cairo to Los Angeles on 23 May 2026 and Cairo to Chicago O’Hare on 21 June 2026. Both routes operate three times weekly with the A350-900 Airbus, EGYPTAIR’s newest long-haul widebody.
The Los Angeles service marks the long-awaited nonstop air link between Egypt and the US West Coast, EGYPTAIR’s first Los Angeles service in more than two decades, and the longest scheduled route in the airline’s history.

Egypt enquiries came from more than 120 distinct US cities, with bookings from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver and Tampa alongside the established East Coast markets. Travelers booked a median of 85 days before departure, while the median stay was 13 nights.
