ONTARIO, Calif., Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Southern California’s Ontario International Airport (ONT) has again been recognized as a Great Place To Work, earning the prestigious workplace designation for the fourth consecutive year based on overwhelmingly positive feedback from employees.
The certification reflects the results of the 2026 Great Place To WorkTrust Index Survey, conducted in July, in which 93% of employees said ONT is a great place to work. Overall, employees rated the airport 86% positive across the survey’s workplace culture model, which measures trust, pride and camaraderie.
“This recognition means the most because it comes directly from our employees,” said Angela Lauber-Conroy, senior vice president and chief people officer for the Ontario International Airport Authority. “The culture we’ve built together is rooted in trust, respect and a shared commitment to excellence. When employees feel valued and empowered, they deliver exceptional experiences for our passengers, airline partners and the communities we serve. That connection has been a defining part of ONT’s success.”
The survey also highlighted exceptionally strong marks in several key areas:
- 99% said people celebrate special events together.
- 97% said new employees are made to feel welcome.
- 96% said ONT provides a physically safe workplace.
- 95% described ONT as an enjoyable place to work.
The annual survey is conducted by Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviors proven to drive business performance.
The recognition comes during a milestone period for Ontario International Airport as it celebrates its Decade of Local Control. Since returning to local ownership in 2016, ONT has grown from 4.3 million annual passengers to more than 7 million while earning national recognition for customer service, operational excellence and innovation.
