The reusable, non-prescription device for stress urinary incontinence adds a new handle and an optional, single-use Removal String, shaped by women’s feedback to give users more confidence around removal.

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Uresta, a Canadian, female-led and co-founded pelvic health brand, announces the launch of Uresta 2.0, the latest evolution of its reusable, FDA-cleared, over-the-counter vaginal bladder support device for women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Uresta 2.0 introduces a redesigned handle with a finger hole and an optional, single-use Removal String to help users feel more confident when removing the device. Its trusted leak-stopping technology, sizing and comfortable fit remain unchanged. Uresta 2.0 is available now at uresta.com.

A workout. A dance floor. A laugh you don’t hold back. Bladder leaks can make women think twice about everyday moments. Uresta’s mission is to change that.

Why? Women spoke, Uresta listened

The Uresta 2.0 evolution began with feedback from the women who use Uresta. While they valued its bladder support and game-changing efficacy, some wanted more reassurance around removal. Others shared that removal concerns had kept them from trying the device. With more than 80,000 women already using and trusting the product, Uresta set out to balance what women already loved with what some needed to feel more confident.

“Women have been told for too long that bladder leaks are just something they have to live with. We want to change that conversation and give them an option that helps them say yes to living their lives free from bladder leaks,” said Lauren Barker, CEO and Co-Founder of Uresta. “I personally read every customer review. When women told us they wanted more confidence around removal, we listened. That’s what creating products for women should look like, combining clinical validation with real feedback from real women..”

Uresta users who have tried the new design say the change matters. “Knowing that it is easier to grasp does help with the psychology of using the device,” said Jocelyn W.

“This version is much easier to use, especially for removal. Thank you for listening to customers,” said Shar A.

What’s new in Uresta 2.0?

  • A redesigned finger hole handle: Users can place a finger through the handle for a more secure grip during removal.
  • An optional, single-use Removal String: The string attaches to the new handle before insertion and helps users locate and reach the handle when it is time to remove the device.

How Uresta works for stress urinary incontinence

Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is urine leakage during physical activity or exertion, such as coughing, sneezing, laughing, jumping or exercising.

Uresta is a non-surgical vaginal pessary that supports the urethra through the vaginal wall to help prevent leaks rather than absorb them. It is FDA-cleared, available without a prescription and self-fitted at home. When properly fitted, users can pee normally without removing it, and the device is washable and reusable, offering an alternative to disposable pads and liners. Often described as “the bra for your bladder,” Uresta helps women get back to the things they love without worrying about leaks.

Availability

Uresta 2.0 is available now at uresta.com/pages/uresta-2-0. The Starter Kit includes three sizes and 15 complimentary Removal Strings, so users can choose whether to use them; additional Removal Strings are sold separately. For size guidance and instructions for use, visit uresta.com.
