Attorney Michelle Wilson was motivated to change the firm’s name because she wants clients to share their “Love Legacy” with their families, to go beyond the documents and convey the why behind their choices.

The evolution to Love Legacy Estate Planning is itself a story of legacy. Before undergoing surgery, Wilson wrote a book of letters to her daughter called So I Can Love You Longer: A Mother’s Message to Her Daughter. It included everything she would want her to know, carry, and hold onto if she did not survive the procedure. The experience made personal what she had long observed professionally: that the most valuable thing a parent can leave behind is not assets, but understanding.
