DETROIT, March 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — This 313 Day, SNIPES and adidas are putting the spotlight on Detroit with a release made specifically for the city. On March 13, SNIPES will launch a Detroit-exclusive 313 Day SMU sneaker. The limited-edition adidas high-top is designed to reflect the confidence, style, and individuality that define Detroit culture. Featuring a matte black, metallic silver, and matte grey palette with chrome detailing, the sneaker balances clean design with statement presence, built to stand out whether on stage, on the block, or on the move. The 313 SMU sneaker will retail for $120 at SNIPES retail locations across Detroit. Each purchase includes a free gift and VIP access to the “From the Streets” experience.

To celebrate the launch, Snipes will host a free party at the Detroit Garden Theater featuring a performance from Detroit’s own Skilla Baby. The event will be free to attend with RSVP required through the Snipes Reserve App.

“313 Day is about celebrating Detroit in the places where its culture actually lives,” said Kelley Walton, SNIPES Chief Marketing Officer. “This sneaker was created with that energy in mind, something the city can claim as its own while bringing people together to celebrate the creativity and pride Detroit is known for.”

The campaign is supported by a cinematic short film directed by Detroit-based photographer and filmmaker Vuhlandes. Shot entirely in motion, the film follows a walk through the city, revealing neighborhoods, people, and everyday moments that build toward a powerful sense of identity and belonging.

Through product, storytelling, music, and community, SNIPES and adidas are creating a 313 Day experience that extends beyond retail, celebrating Detroit not just as a place but as a symbol of innovation and identity.
