MADISON, Wis., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Singlewire Software, the leader in solutions that help keep people safe and informed, announces that the InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge has been named a winner in the New Products category of FacilitiesNet’s 8th Annual Vision Awards.

Singlewire Software wins a 2026 FacilitiesaNet Vision Award for the InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge in the new product category.

Now in its eighth year, the Vision Awards honor innovation and excellence in products contributing to the efficient, profitable operation and management of institutional and commercial buildings nationwide. This year’s program drew more than 170 submissions across 12 categories, evaluated by a panel that included Facility Influencers, FacilitiesNet Facility Champion Award winners, and members of the Building Operating Management and Facility Maintenance Decisions Editorial Advisory Boards.

“This recognition reflects the trust facility and safety leaders place in solutions that are simple to use and dependable when every second counts,” said Terry Swanson, President and CEO of Singlewire Software. “The InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge supports staff everyday and when it matters most, backed by reliable, powerful software that makes sure everyone know who needs help and where help should be sent.”

Built for Fast, Discreet Response

The InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge is lightweight and easily worn on a lanyard or belt, staying unobtrusive during the day while remaining immediately at hand when it’s needed. Its single-button, tactile activation works without requiring staff to look at the device, helping prevent accidental activation while staying simple to use under stress.

The badge’s two-tier alert system lets staff signal either a daily request for assistance or a full emergency response with a simple button press. Once activated, it connects directly to Singlewire InformaCast, sending real-time alerts across IP phones, overhead speakers, digital signage, desktop notifications, and mobile devices — helping the right people respond with the right information, faster.

A Growing Body of Recognition

The win adds to a year of industry recognition for the InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge, which was also named a winner in Campus Security Today’s 2026 Secure Campus Awards. Singlewire Software continues to invest in solutions that unify existing safety infrastructure into a single, dependable ecosystem — without requiring organizations to replace the systems already in place.

“We’re always thrilled to see so many entries for the Vision Awards,” said Dave Lubach, Chief Editor for the Facility Market. “It shows the great amount of innovation taking place in the facility management industry, and our readers appreciate the variety of choices in front of them to help make their jobs easier.”
