LearnAboutWine presents Rhône Wars, returning to Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at The East Angel in the Arts District.
Rhône Wars brings together 25+ wineries from around the globe, more than 80 wines and over 400 total trade and consumer guests for a walk-around tasting dedicated to Rhône varietals and blends. Guests will taste their way through the participating wineries and receive a golden token to award to their favorite. The winery earning the most gold will take the Rhône Wars title.
FEATURED WINERIES include Alban Vineyards, Alma Rosa, Benza Vineyards, Caelesta Vineyard, Cairjn Wine Cellars, Calcareous Vineyard, Cass Winery, Cimento, Clos Liontain, Holocene, Clos Solène, Copia Vineyards & Winery, Force Majeure, Le Vigne Winery, Levo Vineyard, Lyons Vineyard Estate, M. A highlight of this year’s event will be the inaugural LearnAboutWine Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring John S. Alban, Winemaker, Owner and Head Groundskeeper of Alban Vineyards. Alban founded Alban Vineyards in 1986 as the first American winery and vineyard established exclusively for Rhône varieties. His career has played an important role in the growth of Rhône varieties in California, and on November 19th, 2026 he will become the first inductee into the LearnAboutWine Hall of Fame.

VIP Early Access begins at 6:30 PM and is limited to 50 guests. VIP admission includes an additional 30 minutes of tasting, a take-home VIP wine glass, a plate of tacos, access to the VIP lounge and a VIP gift bag from event sponsors.
General Admission begins at 7 PM and includes access to more than 60 wines from 20+ wineries, a brochure and the golden-token voting experience. The tasting concludes at 9 PM.
