Audio program to appeal to veterans and broader disability community alike, with new episodes dropping every other week starting Oct. 6
WASHINGTON, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Paralyzed Veterans of America launches “Voices of PVA” – an audio-only podcast designed to inform, empower, and connect veterans and people living with spinal cord injuries or diseases (SCI/D), like MS and ALS, and those who support them. Having debuted on September 22 and on the heels of PVA’s One of One campaign, the podcast serves as the definitive voice of PVA and life with SCI/D. Every episode brings listeners inside the healthcare battles, legislative wins, adaptive sports journeys, and more shaping the lives of those with disabilities. Hosted by U.S. Navy SEAL veteran/Paralympian and editor-in-chief of Paraplegic News and Sports ‘N Spokes magazines Al Kovach, as well as PVA reporter Chad Stewart, each installment features guests with personal ties to paralysis — from veteran athletes and policy leaders to caregivers, renowned researchers, and more.

The podcast represents a significant step forward in PVA’s ongoing efforts to innovate how it connects with its community and elevates issues impacting veterans and people with disabilities.
