Company to continue supporting its government, commercial, and international customers as it works to find strategic investors to recapitalize the business
Operations to be funded through the support of the Company’s existing secured lenders
Company continues to evaluate a full range of strategic alternatives, including a sale of some or all of its assets, a plan of reorganization, or another path forward
BOSTON, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Noble Equity Holdings, LLC (together with its affiliates, “Noble”, “Noble Supply and Logistics”, or the “Company”), a leading provider of mission-critical logistics, supply chain, and product solutions to U.S. federal government, commercial, and international customers, today announced that it and certain of its affiliates have filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Court”).
“For over 20 years, Noble’s team has delivered mission-critical support to the government agencies and commercial customers who depend on us most,” said Tom Noble, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Noble. “After a thorough evaluation of our options, we determined that this process is the right path to preserve the value of our business, while allowing us to continue meeting our obligations to the customers and partners we serve.” “Unfortunately we were forced to make this decision because the company could not withstanding the significant headwinds it has faced over the last several months, most notably DLA’s Weapons Support organization shortening Noble’s critical weapons support contract from 10 years to 4 years, leaving the Company holding approximately $100M of inventory and related obligations that Noble acquired, warehoused, and maintained to meet DLA’s own requirements.”
The Company intends to use the Chapter 11 process to pursue a value-maximizing outcome for its stakeholders — whether through a sale of some or all of its assets, a plan of reorganization, or another path forward — while continuing to serve its customers without disruption. Noble is not currently party to a restructuring support agreement or committed exit financing, and has not identified a stalking horse bidder or plan sponsor as of the date of this release.
Noble expects to fund its operations during the Chapter 11 process through the consensual use of cash collateral, with the support of existing secured lenders. The Company has filed a series of customary “First Day” motions with the Court requesting authority to continue operating in the ordinary course during the process, including the continued payment of employee wages and benefits and continued support for its customers, subject in each case to the applicable requirements of the Bankruptcy Code and approval of the Court.
