Mr. Holowesko brings extensive experience in institutional trading and investment management, further strengthening Jones’ capabilities as the firm continues to expand its Outsourced Trading business.
The appointment reflects Jones’ continued investment in senior talent to support its growing institutional client base and meet the evolving needs of large and sophisticated investors.

Prior to joining Jones, Mr. Holowesko was Partner and Head of Trading at Holowesko Partners Ltd., an international value hedge fund based in The Bahamas, where he also focused on arbitrage, special situations, and hedging strategies. Previously, he served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York and London, where he was a founding member of the firm’s Absolute Return Group, its first dedicated hedge fund sales group.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Holowesko was an Associate News Producer at TV Tokyo’s Washington, D.C. bureau, covering international trade and geopolitical developments. He also served as Vice Chairman of Bahamas Power and Light, where he led the implementation of the company’s first fuel hedging program in conjunction with the Inter-American Development Bank. Mr. Holowesko holds a degree in International Relations from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder.
