The award-winning power vocalist and author invites listeners to be among the first to hear her unreleased record
LONDON, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HINABI, the award-winning power vocalist and author, is preparing VOL II: KURATA, her unreleased cinematic pop-rock record made with her band, HINA.BAND. The music starts rolling out very soon, and this is the moment to get in early and be among the first to hear her and her “sound.”

HINABI on true love
At the heart of VOL II: KURATA is an unapologetic belief that true love is something two people build together. In a swipe culture where the next option is always a thumb away, HINABI is making a record that argues for staying.
Whether she is reading spoken poetry or narrating her views on true love, HINABI has a voice people remember. One fan called her “the female Morgan Freeman of True Love.”

On first impression, she is bright, bubbly and quick to laugh. Nothing about it suggests one of the most serious vocalists the world has not yet heard or seen. That is why the world is holding its breath for how she will actually sing. How does that voice translate when it becomes the sound?
Worth the wait
HINABI has not rushed the answer. She has taken the time to build a band and shape the sound with them. What has been shared so far is only a tease of her power vocals and the sound of VOL II: KURATA.
Dylan Youles is the youngest of the three, yet he is the band leader and the heartbeat of HINA.BAND. He holds First Class Honours from ICMP, plays a hybrid setup with pads, triggers and an SPD-SX, and counts Jaz Beeson’s Petrol Receipts among his credits.
“I’m bringing my experience, professionalism and creative understanding to this project to create a backdrop and atmosphere that allows HINABI to create VOL II: KURATA. It’s about building an environment that complements the artist’s vision and allows her story, emotions and message to come through authentically.
“Every detail is carefully considered to ensure the musical choices support her expression and help translate her personal journey into something the audience can truly connect with,” says Youles, who is always endearingly referred to as “BAND LEADAAAH” by HINABI.
HINA.BAND and the cinematic pop-rock sound

The dynamic between the three is fascinating to watch. HINABI and bassist Krzysztof “Kaye” Syposz bring quirkiness and funkiness alongside real seriousness. Yet when you listen, their sound is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking melodies around.
For most singers, bass and drums sit behind them. HINABI does not hide behind her rhythm section, and that says a lot about how confident she is in her vocals. HINA.BAND shares that quiet confidence and an innate understanding of the nuances of the music. Their sound promises to be unusually powerful on record, and even more so live.
“There’s a highly demanding ask for the HINA.BAND. Our language is music and so I asked them to show me their music and build their sound within HINABI. Make the music where my voice can be beautifully engulfed in.”
— HINABI
Rock usually trades on a bad boy or bad girl image. These three are intentional. There is a quiet confidence, an aura that is signature HINABI, and a down-to-earth quality that carries into the music.
Her upcoming single, RENEGADE, is one of the most heartbreaking pop-rock songs to date, with HINA.BAND building around a voice that can break your heart.
The record is being shaped with DK (Do Hyun Kim), the Los Angeles producer behind more than 190 K-pop, pop and EDM credits, with post-production and mastering by Stephen DeAcutis (Stevie D), the New Jersey engineer whose credits include Cyndi Lauper and Corey Glover.
Meanwhile, Syposz has worked with Joel Culpepper and Kay Young, and in HINA.BAND his bass carries melody rather than just holding down the low end.
“Being a session musician for years has been cool, but it’s usually at the command and direction of someone else and what they’re looking for,” he says.
“HINABI is cool!” notes the “PRETTY BOY” of the band, since HINABI notes that his sound is always ” devastatingly pretty.”
“It is amazing to be part of a ‘band’ again rather than a gun for hire, as creating and crafting the whole song is so much deeper, because it’s your own and not ‘for someone else’.
“I am happy to be taking full ownership of and really crafting a unique sound.”
For her community, whom she also calls HINABI, the invitation is to believe that true love really exists, and that HINABI and HINA.BAND are worth the wait.
Listeners who start now will be among the first to hear where she goes next. Until the music arrives, her KURATA LETTERS and the search for her white guitar WOLFIE (#FINDINGWOLFIE) continue on Instagram at @hinabimusicand @volii.kurata.
