Firm advances 57 positions in national ranking based on nonresidential and multifamily building revenue
OAK BROOK, Ill., Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — FGM Architects (FGMA), a nationally recognized architecture and design firm, announced today that it has risen to No. 38 on Building Design+Construction’s 2026 Top 200 Architecture Firms list, up from No. 95 in the 2025 ranking.
The 57-position advance places FGMA among the nation’s leading architecture practices for nonresidential building and multifamily housing work. The list is part of BD+C’s 2026 Giants 400 Report, the publication’s annual ranking of the country’s largest architecture, engineering and construction firms.

The 2026 Giants 400 marks the 50th edition of BD+C’s report. Nearly 600 firms submitted data, and the report encompasses 137 rankings across 25 building sectors and specialty categories and six AEC disciplines. BD+C bases the rankings on information supplied and verified by participating firms.
For the Giants 400, firms report gross revenue from commercial, institutional, multifamily and industrial building work completed by U.S.- and Canada-based teams, excluding non-building and single-family residential work. The Top 200 Architecture Firms list recognizes architecture practices based on revenue from qualifying nonresidential and multifamily building work.
