LONDON, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — First launched in 1999, Glow Tonic was created to tackle the visible signs of dullness, uneven-looking texture and pores. This Glowtober, Pixi is putting the spotlight back on its original alcohol-free toner: 5% Glycolic Acid gently exfoliates dead surface skin cells, while Aloe Vera helps soothe and Ginseng revitalizes the appearance of skin. The result is a complexion that looks smoother, brighter and more radiant.

First launched in 1999, Glow Tonic was created to tackle the visible signs of dullness, uneven-looking texture and pores.

Proven Results, Powered by Glow

For over two decades, Pixi Glow Tonic has been at the heart of Pixi’s approach to naturally glowing skin. In a 30-day consumer perception study, participants using Glow Tonic as directed reported:

  • 91% said the toner felt hydrating*
  • 82% said skin tone appeared more even*
  • 80% said the toner reduced the look of blemishes*

Created by Pixi founder, makeup artist and product developer Petra Strand as the first product in the award-winning range, the toner helps remove excess oil and impurities, refine the appearance of visible pores and smooth the look of uneven texture, leaving skin looking fresh, balanced and radiant. Before acid toners became a skincare category of their own, Glow Tonic had already started the conversation.

“Glow Tonic set the stage for Pixi’s signature glowy skin,” says Petra Strand, Pixi Founder and Makeup Artist. “I wanted to create an exfoliating toner that felt effective but also kind to skin, a simple daily step that helps bring back that fresh, healthy-looking glow.”

How to Use Glow Tonic

After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad with Glow Tonic and sweep across the face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eye area. Follow with your serum and/or moisturizer and use SPF after daytime use.

Glow Tonic is suitable for normal, combination, oily and balanced dry skin. Those with sensitive skin or new to acid exfoliation are advised to begin two to three times a week, increasing use gradually as skin adjusts.

Your Glowtober Routine Starts Here

This Glowtober, Pixi celebrates the skincare essential that continues to make glowing skin feel simple, effective and joyful. Whether discovering Glow Tonic for the first time or returning to a long-time favourite, the globally recognised toner remains a go-to for smoother-looking texture, brighter-looking skin and the unmistakable Pixi Glow.

Pixi Glow Tonic, 250ml / 8.5 fl oz, £22 | €23.50 | $29 is available from pixibeauty.com, Pixi Boutiques in London and LA, and selected retail partners globally.
