Coral Beach Resort Sharjah is a four-star beachfront hotel overlooking the Arabian Gulf in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The resort features four restaurants, swimming pools, a spa and fitness centre, recreational facilities, tennis courts, and water sports, providing a full-service destination for leisure and family travelers.
The installation supports the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority’s Food Waste Carbon Pilot Implementation, which aims to reduce food waste and its environmental impact across the hospitality sector.
The LFC biodigester uses microorganisms in a natural aerobic digestion process to break down food waste directly on site. For Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, the system provides a practical way to manage waste from food preparation, buffet operations, and uneaten food while simplifying kitchen operations and reducing reliance on conventional waste collection.
