NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care today announced the start of its in-home veterinary services in Nashville, bringing convenient, at-home care to pets and their families across the metro area. Building on the foundation created by ReadiVet, which BlueSky At-Home acquired earlier this year, the company will begin serving Nashville pets in their homes starting September 15, 2026.

BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care is now serving Nashville.

BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care today announced the start of its in-home veterinary services in Nashville.

BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care is a mobile veterinary practice with a single purpose: to improve the longevity and healthspan of the pets it serves by making high quality care straightforward. The company provides longevity-focused services, including preventive care, non-emergency sick visits, and end-of-life support, all in the comfort of home.

“Nashville is a community that cares deeply about its pets, and we are excited to bring our at-home care here,” said Sean Miller, CEO and Co-Founder of BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care and a proud Vanderbilt University alumnus. “I have a long-standing connection to this city, and it means a great deal to me to serve Nashville families in this way. Pet parents in this city want convenient, thoughtful medical care from someone they trust, without adding stress for their animals. Our veterinarians come directly to the home, take the time needed for each visit, and focus on calm, clear communication. We are honored to continue the at-home veterinary care that ReadiVet clients in Nashville have come to rely on, now under the BlueSky At-Home name.”

“The work we have done to integrate ReadiVet into BlueSky At-Home has confirmed what we believed from the start,” said Brent Profenno, Co-Founder and CFO of BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care. “When you build a financially healthy, mobile veterinary service, you can keep investing in veterinarians, technicians and veterinary assistants, and support teams, and you can keep visits comfortable and practical for families. Expanding our in-home services in Nashville supports our long-term goal of steady, real-world impact for pets and the people who love them.”

BlueSky At-Home’s clinical leadership emphasized that the Nashville launch is grounded in medical quality, continuity of care, and low-stress home visits.

“Bringing care into the home changes how pets experience veterinary medicine,” said Chad Harris, DVM, Chief Veterinary Officer of BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care. “Anxious dogs settle faster in their own space. Cats, who are often underserved in traditional settings, tolerate exams better without a car ride or a waiting room. In Nashville, our doctors will provide thorough exams, thoughtful diagnostics, and personalized treatment plans right in the living room or kitchen. We want families to feel unhurried, heard, and confident in the plan we build together.”

Dr. Harris noted that BlueSky At-Home is committed to expanding access to veterinary care for every pet, with cats already accounting for more than half of its patients in existing markets. The company’s pricing is structured so that preventive care, including routine bloodwork, is more affordable for families, and more than half of clients choose to include bloodwork in their visits.

“Our goal in Nashville is simple,” said Lyndsey Kingsley, DVM, Chief Operating Officer of BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care. “We want to be the best value in veterinary services for local families, especially when pet parents say yes to bloodwork as part of their visit. That means clear scheduling, fair pricing, and a clinical team that shows up prepared and present. We are focused on continuity for former ReadiVet clients and on welcoming new families who may have put off care because getting to a clinic was too hard. From preventive visits to non-emergency sick care and end-of-life support, we are here to walk alongside Nashville pet parents over the long term.”

Nashville pet owners will be able to schedule in-home appointments starting today. Visits can be booked online, by phone, or by email, with clients choosing the day, time, and doctor that work best for their household. ReadiVet medical records are being transferred into the BlueSky At-Home clinical system to support continuity of care, so pets with ongoing or chronic conditions will not need to start over.
