After Years of Bankruptcy Proceedings, Litigation and Major Changes to InfoWars, Jones Returns to the Austin Studio Where He Broadcast for Years
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Alex Jones is returning to the Austin studio that served for over 15 years as the primary broadcast home of InfoWars.
The Alex Jones Show will once again broadcast from the former InfoWars studios as Jones begins a new chapter of his broadcasting career with a new organization, expanded digital infrastructure and new business ventures.
For longtime viewers, the setting will be immediately familiar: the same building, hallways and studio where Jones spent years broadcasting his daily program.
For Jones, returning to the studio carries personal significance.
“This studio was the center of what we built for many years,” Jones said. “To be able to walk back in, turn the cameras on and continue broadcasting from here means a lot to me and to the people who have supported this show.”
The return follows several years of significant legal and financial changes surrounding Jones, Free Speech Systems and InfoWars, including bankruptcy proceedings and litigation arising from the Sandy Hook judgments.
Throughout that period, Jones continued broadcasting through other platforms and has since joined new venture that has begun building a new media and business organization around The Alex Jones Show.
TEXAS APPEALS COURT REDUCES PUNITIVE DAMAGES
Jones’ return to the studio comes approximately one month after a significant ruling in his Texas appeal.
On August 21, 2026, the Texas Third Court of Appeals affirmed most of the underlying judgment but modified the exemplary damages award.
The court reduced exemplary damages from approximately $45.2 million to $1.5 million — $750,000 for each plaintiff — under the applicable Texas statutory cap. The compensatory damages portion of the judgment remained in place.
The decision reduced the overall Texas judgment from approximately $50 million to approximately $5.5 million.
The ruling does not affect the separate Connecticut judgment against Jones.
THE INFOWARS ASSETS AND THE ONION
The former InfoWars assets have also been the subject of continuing legal proceedings.
In 2024, The Onion’s parent company was selected as the winning bidder in a bankruptcy auction involving InfoWars assets. A federal bankruptcy judge subsequently rejected the proposed sale after raising concerns about the auction and bidding process.
Additional proceedings concerning the InfoWars assets followed.
The Onion has separately launched parody content using the InfoWars name while disputes concerning the underlying assets have continued.
Jones, meanwhile, has continued broadcasting independently and is now returning to the former Austin studio as part of The Alex Jones Show’s new operations.
A NEW ALEX JONES SHOW
The return to the former InfoWars studio does not represent a restoration of Free Speech Systems or the former InfoWars corporate structure.
Instead, Jones says it represents the beginning of a new organization he has joined that is built around The Alex Jones Show.
The new operation is being developed as an independent media and commerce platform with expanded broadcast capabilities, new digital infrastructure, e-commerce operations, advertising and sponsorship programs, consumer businesses and additional distribution channels.
The objective is to create an organization capable of distributing programming directly to its audience across multiple platforms while reducing its dependence on any single technology or distribution provider.
Additional companies, partnerships, programs, personalities and distribution platforms are expected to be announced in the months ahead.
“This isn’t about recreating what existed before,” Jones said. “We’re building something new.”
A BROADER FOCUS FOR THE SHOW
Jones says the next chapter of The Alex Jones Show will also expand beyond its traditional emphasis on politics and current events.
The program will continue covering government, politics, technology and free speech while increasing its focus on subjects including faith, family, physical health, financial independence and technological independence.
“America doesn’t just have a political problem,” Jones said. “America has a spiritual problem.”
