California home care provider earns national recognition following three years of continued growth

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — 24 Hour Caregivers, a California home care provider serving seniors and individuals who need assistance at home, has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

Allen Tahir, Founder & CEO of 24 Hour Caregivers, Inc.

The company ranked No. 4,703 on this year’s list after recording 31% growth over the three-year period measured by Inc.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Allen Tahir, 24 Hour Caregivers began as a single Southern California home care office and has since grown into a multi-location provider serving families across California. Throughout that expansion, the company has remained focused on a simple goal: helping people remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.

“When I started 24 Hour Caregivers in 2008, I wasn’t thinking about awards or national rankings. I wanted to build a company families could trust when someone they love needed help at home,” said Allen Tahir, founder and CEO of 24 Hour Caregivers. “Being named to the Inc. 5000 is an incredible milestone for our team, but I’m most proud that we’ve been able to grow while continuing to put our caregivers and the families we serve first.”

Growing Alongside the Need for Care at Home

24 Hour Caregivers provides professional in-home care for older adults, individuals with disabilities and families facing changing care needs.

As demand for aging-in-place services has increased, the home care agency has expanded its presence across California while continuing to provide services ranging from companionship and personal care to live-in care, respite care and 24-hour home care.

For many families, arranging home care involves much more than finding someone to fill a shift. Caregivers may assist with personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, transportation, companionship and supervision during periods when an older adult may be particularly vulnerable.

As the company has grown, 24 Hour Caregivers has focused on maintaining the consistency, accountability and personal attention families expect from a professional home care provider.

One important part of that approach is the company’s employment model. 24 Hour Caregivers employs its caregivers as W-2 employees, not independent contractors. This allows the company’s internal team to remain directly involved in caregiver hiring, screening, training, scheduling and supervision.

The company believes that investing in caregivers is also an investment in the quality and consistency of care families receive at home.

From One Location to a Growing California Home Care Provider

24 Hour Caregivers’ Inc. 5000 recognition represents the latest milestone in a growth story that began in 2008.

What started as a small regional home care services provider has developed into a multi-regional operation serving communities throughout California. As the company expanded, it continued investing in caregiver recruitment, training, local operations and technology designed to help families connect with care more efficiently.

The expansion has also allowed 24 Hour Caregivers to establish a stronger local presence in the communities it serves while maintaining the infrastructure of a larger California home care provider.

“Growth only matters if we can continue delivering the level of care families expect from us,” Tahir said. “Our goal isn’t simply to become a larger company. It’s to build a better home care company—one that caregivers are proud to work for and families feel comfortable trusting with someone they love.”

National Recognition for Continued Growth

The Inc. 5000 is an annual ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States.

24 Hour Caregivers earned its place on the 2026 Inc. 5000 with 31% three-year growth, joining privately held businesses from a wide range of industries and markets across the country.

The recognition reflects the company’s continued expansion while highlighting the growing role of dependable in-home care as more families look for ways to help aging loved ones remain in familiar surroundings.

For 24 Hour Caregivers, the ranking also represents recognition of the caregivers, office staff and families who have contributed to the company’s growth.

Continuing to Invest in Home Care Across California

24 Hour Caregivers currently serves families in communities throughout California, with a significant presence across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Pasadena, Palm Desert, Thousand Oaks, the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, South Bay, San Diego and surrounding communities.

As the company continues to grow, its focus remains on providing dependable, compassionate home care while preserving the dignity, comfort and independence of the people receiving it.

For Tahir, being named to the Inc. 5000 marks another chapter in a company that began with a single office in 2008 and has since grown into a multi-location California home care provider.

“Making the Inc. 5000 is something our entire team can be proud of,” Tahir said. “But our real measure of success hasn’t changed since we started. It’s whether a family can call us when they need help and feel confident that we’re going to be there for them.”
