Wheeler Resource Recovery Sets 2027 Production Goals for Madison Waterflood Field, President Kevin K. Thibeau outlines next phase of development for the company’s flagship Texas asset

FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Kevin K. Thibeau, president of Wheeler Resource Recovery since 2014, today announced a goal to increase production, strengthen project cash flow and continue unlocking the remaining oil potential of the Madison Waterflood Field by the end of 2027.

Thibeau brings more than 20 years of oil and gas experience and leads investor relations, capital formation and business development for Wheeler. Under his leadership, the company has focused on secondary and enhanced-recovery projects in already-producing Texas oil fields, offering accredited investors direct participation in established assets rather than exploration-stage projects.

Heading into 2027, that focus centers on Madison, where Wheeler has spent years developing its understanding of the reservoir.

“Recognition is appreciated, but ultimately our reputation is built in the field and through the results we work to deliver for our investors,” said Thibeau.

“Our focus heading into 2027 is increasing production, strengthening project cash flow and continuing to unlock the remaining oil potential of the Madison Waterflood Field. We have invested years developing our understanding of this reservoir, and I believe the knowledge, infrastructure and field experience we have today position us for an important next phase of development.”

Wheeler works exclusively on fields with established production history, applying secondary and enhanced-recovery techniques to reservoirs with documented operating data.

“Oil and gas is a business where every well and every year will not perform exactly as projected,” Thibeau added. “What matters is experience, the ability to adapt and the commitment to continue improving the asset.”

Investors participate directly in Wheeler’s oil and gas projects rather than in Wheeler Resource Recovery corporate equity. The company is currently seeking relationships with additional accredited investors.
