LJUBLJANA, Slovenia, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Serbian and Slovenian tourism professionals and business leaders meet today in Ljubljana for the Visit Serbia B2B Networking event, part of EXPO 2027 Belgrade’s international roadshow.
The event will introduce EXPO 2027 Belgrade, officially launch ticket sales for travel partners and facilitate B2B networking in tourism and business. The programme will include the presentation of Slovenia’s pavilion concept and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen the partnership.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Danilo Jerinić, CEO of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Blaž Cvar, President of Slovenia’s Chamber of Craft and Small Business, and Leon Korošec, State Secretary at the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport.

Strengthening bilateral cooperation
According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia bilateral trade in goods reached approximately US$2.04 billion in 2025, while more than 1,200 Slovenian companies operate in Serbia.
EXPO 2027 Belgrade aims to strengthen these ties through more than 250 bilateral business events and 50,000 business meetings, creating opportunities for tourism operators, investors and businesses.
