Phased Updates Include New Leave Management, Recruiting and Business Spending Capabilities

DUBLIN, Calif., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — TriNet (NYSE: TNET) a leading provider of comprehensive human resources solutions for small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) today announced new and enhanced platform capabilities designed to reduce administrative complexities. The latest updates provide HR capabilities that SMBs really need, including embedded solutions that simplify recruiting, leave management and business spending, and expanded AI-powered intelligence to help businesses access and analyze information, and complete tasks more efficiently.

TriNet Expands Embedded HR Solutions and AI Capabilities for Small and Medium-Size Businesses

“Business owners no longer want to simply react to change; they want to stay ahead of it,” said Jeff Hayward, EVP and Chief Service and Technology Officer at TriNet. “That’s why we’re continuing to invest in AI-powered intelligence and more connected experiences that help our customers make decisions faster, reduce administrative work and focus more of their time on growing their businesses.”

“Our customers don’t think about HR in silos, and their technology shouldn’t work that way either,” said Lisa Reeves, Chief Product Officer at TriNet. “These enhancements bring together trusted technology, embedded partner solutions and TriNet’s HR expertise to make it easier for our customers to hire, support their people, manage their business and make confident decisions.”

TriNet is introducing the latest enhancements in phases, creating more connected experiences across critical business functions while continuing to expand AI-powered capabilities that help businesses work more efficiently. These include:

  • TriNet Leave, Powered by Cocoon: Following TriNet’s acquisition of Cocoon earlier this year, TriNet is introducing TriNet Leave, powered by Cocoon, a modern leave management experience connected to the TriNet platform and now rolling out in phases. By combining Cocoon’s technology with TriNet’s leave administration expertise, the solution helps employers manage leave requests, compliance obligations, claims tracking and return-to-work processes through a single intuitive experience. Customers benefit from greater visibility, automation and guidance while helping navigate increasingly complex leave requirements.
  • TriNet Recruit, Powered by JazzHR: Available in early January, TriNet Recruit will provide growing businesses with a structured applicant tracking experience that helps simplify hiring from job posting to onboarding. Customers can organize candidates, collaborate on hiring decisions, extend offers, and move employee information into onboarding through a connected workflow.
  • TriNet Spend: Available in early January, TriNet Spend will connect employee, payroll and spending data into a unified experience through an integrated technology partnership. The solution helps small businesses gain greater visibility and control over company expenses, while automated workflows and payroll-connected reimbursements reduce manual work and deliver real-time insights and control of spending.
  • AI-Powered Assistance: Building on the success of TriNet Assistant, and available now, TriNet continues to expand its AI-powered capabilities to help customers find information, gain workforce insights, and complete everyday tasks more efficiently. New enhancements include voice-enabled mobile experiences and expanded AI capabilities for administrators, including the ability to ask questions about workforce data directly within Reports and Analytics.
