The multi-year partnership kicks off with a new campaign starring New York Giants running back Cam
Skattebo and his senior rescue dog, Duke

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Farmer’s Dog®, the leader in real, human-grade dog food, today announced a landmark, multi-year partnership with the National Football League (NFL), becoming the league’s first-ever Official Pet Food Partner. The agreement brings The Farmer’s Dog and its mission to one of the most influential cultural platforms in America, introducing millions more dog owners to the power of real food.

The Farmer's Dog is the Official Pet Food Partner of the NFL, Partners with Cam Skattebo

From players and their families to fans across the country, dogs are by our side through so much of life. They’re part of the traditions that make game day special, there through big wins, tough losses, and all the moments in between. The partnership will shine a light on that bond and celebrate the special place dogs hold in the lives of people who love the game.

“The NFL is all about bringing people together through shared experiences and community,” said Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL. “Dogs are an important part of many families, and as the Official Pet Food Partner, The Farmer’s Dog will help us celebrate the role they play in our lives and communities throughout the season.”

Throughout the year, fans can expect exclusive content, experiences at some of the NFL’s biggest moments—including Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Combine, and the NFL Draft—and community initiatives through programs like My Cause My Cleats, NFL Salute to Service, NFL FLAG, and more.

The partnership launches with New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo and his senior rescue dog, Duke, longtime customers of The Farmer’s Dog whose bond embodies the campaign’s message. The spot follows them through the moments fans rarely see—the early mornings, long drives, recoveries, and routines that shaped both of them long before the NFL. It also features his Dachshund puppies, Cheech and Daizy, celebrating the joy dogs bring at every stage of life.

“I’ve had Duke for every high and every low. He’s been my teammate long before football became my career. I started feeding him The Farmer’s Dog because I wanted as many healthy years with him as possible,” said Skattebo. “If The Farmer’s Dog teaming up with the NFL gets even one more person thinking differently about what they feed their dog, that’s something I’m proud to be part of.”

The NFL and Skattebo join a growing roster of partners—including The Oprah Podcast®, NASCAR Champion Ryan Blaney, and No. 1 U.S. women’s tennis player Jess Pegula—who share The Farmer’s Dog’s belief in doing the best we can for our dogs. The company also serves as the Official Pet Food of the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and is coming off its Emmy-nominated, USA Today Ad Meter®-winning Super Bowl commercial, Forever.

“We understand more than ever how much what we eat impacts our health and performance. NFL players live that every day, and people increasingly recognize the same is true for their dogs,” said Jonathan Regev, CEO and Co-Founder of The Farmer’s Dog. “We started The Farmer’s Dog because for too long, feeding your dog meant choosing between different versions of the same ultra-processed food. This partnership gives us an incredible opportunity to show millions more people there’s a better way. Everything we do is about helping dogs live healthier lives and giving people more time with them—more games, more Sundays, and more seasons together. Dogs have an incredible ability to make our lives better, and we’re proud to partner with the NFL to celebrate that bond and what it means to have a dog by your side through all of it.”

Fans can learn more about the partnership, watch the launch campaign, and follow along throughout the season at: thefarmersdog.com/nfl.
