SNDX shareholders saw the market open to losses of more than 11% after the Phase 2 MAXPIRe trial of axatilimab missed its primary endpoint in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. SueWallSt notifies investors of a pending investigation into potential securities law violations on behalf of investors who lost money.

NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On the morning of October 13, 2026, Syndax Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SNDX) shares opened at about $14.61 per share, down 11.72% from the October 12 close after the Company announced that axatilimab failed to meet the primary endpoint of its Phase 2 MAXPIRe trial in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). If you bought SNDX and are now holding a loss, or sold into the decline, you may be able to seek recovery. Submit your SNDX loss details now for a free evaluation, or contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. via email at jlevi@SueWallSt.com or by telephone at (888) SueWallSt.

The 145-patient MAXPIRe trial measured the annualized rate of decline in forced vital capacity (FVC), a measure of lung function. The trial showed no benefit for axatilimab on that endpoint. Syndax said it would not pursue further development of axatilimab in IPF, and its graft-versus-host disease programs continue. Previously, during Syndax’s fourth quarter fiscal 2025 earnings call on February 26, 2026, Chief Medical Officer Botwood described the study as having the “potential to provide robust proof-of-concept data for axatilimab in IPF” and later indicated they were “feeling really quite confident in both the design and the outcome” of the trial.

SueWallSt notifies investors of a pending investigation on behalf of SNDX shareholders who suffered losses. Any SNDX investor who lost money in the October 13 selloff is encouraged to request a free review of their losses. Joseph E. Levi, Esq. can also be reached by email at jlevi@SueWallSt.com or by telephone at (888) SueWallSt.

Frequently Asked Questions About the SNDX Investigation

Q: How much did SNDX stock drop?A: Shares fell approximately $1.94 per share, or about 11.72% in overnight trading to open at roughly $14.61 on October 13, 2026. By midday the stock had faltered by more than $2.50, or 15%, from the previous day’s closing price. The drop followed the Company’s disclosure that axatilimab failed to meet the primary endpoint of its Phase 2 MAXPIRe trial in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and that it would not pursue further IPF development. Investors who purchased shares at allegedly inflated prices and suffered losses may be eligible to seek compensation.

Q: Who is eligible to participate in the SNDX investigation?A: Investors who purchased SNDX stock or securities and suffered financial losses may be eligible. Eligibility is based on purchase date and documented losses — not on whether you still hold the shares.

Q: What do SNDX investors need to do right now?A: Investors may gather brokerage records showing purchase dates, share quantities, and prices paid. Submit your information for a no-cost, no-obligation evaluation of your potential recovery. No immediate action is required to remain eligible to participate in the investigation.

Q: What documents do I need to participate?A: Brokerage statements or trade confirmations showing purchase dates, share quantities, prices paid, and any subsequent sale dates and prices.

Q: What if I already sold my SNDX shares — can I still recover losses?A: Yes. Eligibility is based on when you purchased, not whether you still hold the shares. Investors who bought SNDX and sold at a loss may still participate in the investigation.

Q: What if my SNDX losses are small — is it still worth contacting a lawyer?A: Yes. There is no minimum loss amount required to participate in the investigation.

Q: What does it cost me to participate?A: There is no upfront cost to submit your information and review whether you may be eligible to recover. Should you choose to participate in any resulting action, these matters are generally handled on a contingency basis, with any attorneys’ fees and expenses subject to court approval.
