National class action law firm offers free, confidential case evaluations to STS Aviation Group customers, employees, and others whose personal information may have been exposed in the data breach.

NEWTOWN, Pa., Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a national class action law firm, is investigating data privacy claims arising from a data breach at STS Aviation Group, a global aviation services company founded in 1984 and headquartered in Jensen Beach, Florida. Anyone who received a breach notice or believes their information may have been exposed can request a free case evaluation.

Edelson Lechtzin LLP

What Happened

STS Aviation Group disclosed that, on or around August 5, 2025, an unauthorized third party accessed certain of its computer systems. The company identified the incident on September 12, 2025, and began working to determine its scope and the individuals affected. On September 19, 2026, STS Aviation Group determined that the unauthorized party had obtained personal information belonging to affected individuals.

STS Aviation Group reported the breach to the California, Massachusetts, and Vermont Attorneys General on October 19, 2026, and began notifying affected individuals the same day. The incident has so far been reported to affect at least 319 Massachusetts residents.

What Information Was Exposed

According to STS Aviation Group, the personal information involved may include:

  • Names and contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses
  • Dates of birth
  • Government identification documents and numbers, including Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and passport numbers
  • Login credentials
  • Financial account information and payment card details
  • Medical information and health insurance information
  • Fingerprints
  • Work-related information, such as salary, evaluations, and workers’ compensation claims

This combination of financial, medical, biometric, and government-identifier data can create a lasting risk of identity theft and fraud.

Who May Be Affected

The investigation focuses on people connected to STS Aviation Group — including customers and current and former employees — whose personal information the company maintained. Affected individuals are receiving written notice describing the incident and the protections offered.

Your Legal Options

Edelson Lechtzin LLP is investigating a potential class action on behalf of individuals whose data may have been compromised. A successful case could recover compensation for losses such as lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and loss of privacy, and could press STS Aviation Group to strengthen its data protection. The firm evaluates rights and potential claims at no cost.

Recommended Steps to Protect Yourself

  • Watch for the notice from STS Aviation Group by mail and keep the enclosed activation code.
  • Place a free fraud alert or credit freeze with Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, and obtain your free reports at AnnualCreditReport.com.
  • Review your bank, card, and insurance statements for anything you do not recognize.
  • Be skeptical of unexpected calls, texts, or emails about the incident, and report suspected identity theft to the Federal Trade Commission at IdentityTheft.gov.
