Shawn Kimble Joins as Executive Managing Director to Advance Investment Strategy and Capital Formation
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Stream Realty Partners, a national commercial real estate firm offering an integrated platform of services, announces that Shawn Kimble has joined the firm’s Investment Management platform as Executive Managing Director. Based in Charlotte, Kimble will work alongside Chief Investment Officer Adam Jackson to help lead capital formation, investment strategy, new product development, and the continued growth of Stream’s investment management business.
Kimble brings nearly two decades of institutional real estate investment experience spanning capital markets, investing, strategy, and platform leadership. He joins Stream from Barings, where he most recently served as Head of U.S. & European Capital Markets and Strategy for the firm’s global real estate platform.
In that role, Kimble oversaw capital markets, research and strategy, valuations, risk management, development, and engineering while driving strategic growth initiatives across the platform. He also served on Barings’ U.S. Debt, Equity, and Affordable Housing Investment Committees, as well as its Valuation Committees.

During his tenure at Barings, Kimble also served as Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Real Estate and previously led the firm’s U.S. Real Estate Capital Markets team, overseeing the execution of more than $35 billion of asset- and fund-level leverage. Earlier in his tenure, he sourced and executed equity investments and joint venture developments. He began his career with Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Capital Markets group in New York, where he originated, structured, and closed more than $7.5 billion in commercial real estate financings.
