LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Scientology Network’s acclaimed Signature Performances will debut Mark Isham: The Voice Within this October, offering an intimate look inside the making of his latest album.
The documentary follows Grammy and Emmy-winning artist Mark Isham—the iconic trumpeter, New Age giant, celebrated composer and electronic music pioneer—as he returns to the studio to create At the Carousel Club, his first new album in 15 years. Blending the artistry of master musicians with electronic synthesis, Isham shapes a sound that pushes the boundaries of his already expansive body of work.
Stepping into the legendary Mad Hatter Studios—famed for recordings by artists ranging from Paul McCartney to Prince—Isham candidly reflects on the challenges and expectations surrounding the project. Behind-the-scenes moments document creative risks, breakthroughs and the experiences that have defined his musical journey, giving viewers rare access to a composer continually redefining his sound.
Joining him is a handpicked ensemble of superb musicians, including legendary drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, vocalist Ayo Awosika, guitarist Nels Cline, bassist Kaveh Rastegar and the Orchid String Quartet. Their collaboration forms the backbone of the album’s richly layered arrangements, bringing Isham’s electronic compositions to life through ensemble performance.
