“Memoir of a Mystic Soul” traces a personal journey through love, loss and spiritual discovery
SHERMAN, Texas, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A lifetime of personal challenges, unusual experiences and spiritual questions led Sandra D. Newton to explore the nature of reality, the soul and human connection. In her memoir, “Memoir of a Mystic Soul,” Newton recounts the experiences that shaped her spiritual outlook and ongoing search for self-understanding.
“My life has been one grand spiritual adventure filled with mystery, growth, and transformation,” Newton said.
Born in North Carolina and raised in a family shaped by faith and tradition, Newton describes a journey that spans childhood hardships, heartbreak, relationships, psychological exploration and spiritual awakening. She also recounts unusual and paranormal experiences that prompted her to question her understanding of the world and explore new perspectives on spirituality.
Through meditation, therapy and psychological exploration, Newton examines how her experiences influenced her beliefs, relationships and sense of purpose. Rather than presenting a single path to enlightenment, Newton shares the questions, setbacks and discoveries that shaped her outlook.
Newton’s background in psychology, including studies at California State University, informs her exploration of human behavior and emotional self-discovery. Readers navigating grief, change, questions of faith or a desire for deeper meaning may find common ground in her account of a life spent searching for understanding and connection.
