At launch, Public is focusing on trading events that move the markets
NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Public, the world’s first agentic brokerage, today announced the launch of AI Agents for Prediction Markets, enabling members to trade on events that can shape financial markets and connect them with the rest of their portfolio. People can trade events directly or have AI agents trade on their behalf. For example, Public’s AI agents can use prediction market data as a signal for a stock or bond trade.
Members will have access to a broad range of prediction markets across key areas of the economy and financial markets and will be able to use AI agents to make informed decisions based on prediction market data.
The launch introduces prediction markets to Public, with a focus on events that move the markets. Categories include crypto, commodities, climate, economics, corporate events, markets, indices, tech & science, and politics and elections. Each category is designed to give investors another way to assess potential risks and opportunities relevant to their portfolios — whether that means evaluating the potential impact of a Federal Reserve rate cut, anticipating bitcoin price movements, or assessing the likelihood of a corporate event.

- Monitor rate expectations: If the probability of at least three rate cuts this year rises by 10 percentage points in a single day, alert me and summarize my exposure to bank stocks.
- Respond to earnings risk: If the probability of a Q3 earnings miss rises above 60% for any stock I own, buy in-the-money put options, spending no more than $2,500 per position.
Public has partnered with Kalshi, the world’s largest prediction market and a CFTC-regulated financial exchange, to offer prediction markets and execute trades for their members.
