Combined commitments across Fund 3 and its companion vehicles top $1 billion

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Proterra Investment Partners (“Proterra”), a global private investment firm focused on opportunities across the food and agriculture value chain, today announced the final close of its third private credit fund, Proterra Credit Fund 3 (“Fund 3”), with total capital commitments of $680 million. The fund exceeded the firm’s original target, and commitments across the fund and its companion vehicles now total more than $1 billion.

The successful fundraising reflects continued investor demand for Proterra’s differentiated approach to private credit, which specializes in direct lending exclusively to lower middle- and middle-market food and beverage companies. The strategy provides flexible, time-sensitive financing solutions to vertically integrated businesses, processors and branded companies.

“Surpassing our fundraising target is a testament to the strength of our investment strategy and the relationships we have built with our investors,” said Rich Gammill, Managing Partner of Proterra Investment Partners. “We are grateful for the confidence and trust our investors have placed in our team and differentiated investment approach.”

Proterra’s credit team has a strong history of originating, structuring and realizing investments across the food and beverage value chain. The firm believes changing consumer preferences, ongoing industry consolidation and other secular trends are creating financing demand in a resilient and underserved segment of the market. Proterra leverages its industry relationships and underwriting expertise to source and evaluate opportunities across this growing, essential sector.
