From Raw Material Exports to Global Branding, Cashmere Deepens China-Italy Industry Cooperation
MILAN and SHANGHAI, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On September 22, 2026, the “Oriental Cashmere Radiance: Milan Moment” 2026 Yulin Cashmere Promotion Event was successfully held at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Italy. More than 100 guests from China and Italy, including government and business representatives, industry leaders and media representatives, attended the event.
The event featured two key sessions: B2B business matchmaking and an industry brand showcase. It highlighted Yulin’s cashmere industry development and brand capabilities across the entire value chain, supporting the transition from raw material exports to global brand expansion. During the matchmaking session, leading Italian buyers and fashion brand purchasers held in-depth discussions with the heads of Yulin cashmere companies and identified multiple cooperation opportunities.
At the brand showcase, Francesco Vassallo, Vice Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Milan; Zhang Chenggang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Milan; and Mr. Mario Boselli, President of the Italy China Council Foundation and Honorary President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, delivered remarks, sending a positive signal for deeper cooperation between China and Italy in the fashion industry.

They also signed Brand Market Entry Cooperation Agreements with two Italian buying companies, Casile & Casile and IWC, marking the establishment of direct cooperation between Yulin cashmere brands and Europe’s high-end buying and retail networks.
Following the event, the four Yulin companies jointly held a brand launch, with cashmere garments making their appearance in succession. Italian singer of Chinese heritage Nie Hongmei performed classic Italian songs and folk songs from northern Shaanxi, accompanied by northern Shaanxi yangko dancing.
