NJCC’s investment will help retain 259 jobs, create 100 new permanent full-time positions, and support approximately 113 construction jobs in a deeply distressed Camden community.

CAMDEN, N.J., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC) announced the closing of a $15 million New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing transaction to support the expansion of ResinTech’s manufacturing and warehouse facility in Camden. The investment builds on NJCC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening local economies, supporting businesses, and creating pathways to economic opportunity in underserved communities.

The financing will support a 34,500-square-foot addition to ResinTech’s Camden campus as part of an approximately $18.6 million project. The family-owned company is a global manufacturer of ion exchange resins used in water and wastewater filtration. Construction is expected to begin in October 2026 and conclude in October 2027.

Located in a deeply distressed census tract, the expansion is expected to retain 259 existing jobs, create 100 new permanent full-time positions, and support approximately 113 construction jobs. Beyond its employment impact, the project reflects the potential of targeted investment to help businesses grow while expanding economic opportunities for residents of communities that have historically faced barriers to investment.

ResinTech’s commitment to the Camden community extends beyond job creation. As a fair-chance employer, the company provides residents with criminal records a pathway to stable, local employment. ResinTech has also committed to a Community Benefits Agreement with the City of Camden and operates a work-study program with Mastery High School of Camden to help high school seniors prepare for entry into the workforce.

The transaction marks NJCC’s second NMTC investment in ResinTech, underscoring a long-standing partnership focused on expanding manufacturing capacity and supporting economic development in Camden. In 2019, NJCC closed a $7 million NMTC transaction to help ResinTech relocate from West Berlin to Camden and develop a 170,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The facility opened in 2020 on a 27-acre campus, and the company added 25,000 square feet of warehouse space in 2024. ResinTech has described its Camden plant as the first U.S. facility in more than 30 years to produce ion exchange resins, reflecting the company’s commitment to maintaining and expanding domestic manufacturing.

JPMorgan Chase served as the tax credit investor and provided an additional $3 million in NMTC allocation, bringing the total allocation for the project to $18 million.

“With NJCC’s investment, ResinTech will expand manufacturing in Camden, create more than 100 local jobs, and increase production of critical water treatment solutions, including PFAS removal,” said Jeff Gottlieb, CEO of ResinTech.

Bernel Hall, President & CEO of NJCC, added, “A company that hires fairly and puts down roots in Camden is the kind of partner whose impact lasts. We are glad to support its next stage of growth.”
