Fully developed heavy-industrial site puts assembly, paint, testing, and lifecycle support on one campus.

ANDERSON, Texas, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Nexio Power, Inc. has secured a 77-acre secure industrial campus in Anderson, Texas, adding roughly 180,000 square feet of immediately available production capacity as the company moves toward truck production.

Nexio's 77-acre Anderson campus

The site arrives fully outfitted for heavy-duty vehicle work. Its previous operator ran large-scale fabrication and assembly on the same floor space Nexio will use, leaving behind paint and blast capability, thirteen overhead cranes, a dedicated test complex, racked warehousing, and finished sales and engineering offices.

The Anderson facilities will operate as a bridge to Nexio’s planned Lufkin campus and as standing excess capacity once Lufkin comes online. The two sites are complementary, Anderson lets Nexio start truck production immediately and absorb volume during ramp, while Lufkin remains the company’s long-range campus plan.

“Anderson gives us immediate capacity in a facility that was already doing work very close to ours,” said Ryan Gaul, COO of Nexio Power. “It gives us the infrastructure, location, and access to talent we need to move faster today, while creating a strong bridge to Lufkin and the larger campuses we’re building for the future.”

The campus at a glance

  • 77 acres, with approximately 180,000 square feet of production, finishing, testing, warehouse, and office space under roof, plus extensive laydown yards for staging, storage, and future growth.
  • Heavy-industrial infrastructure: 3-phase 480V power at 4,150 amps, thirteen overhead cranes rated up to 25 tons, eave heights of 20 to 40 feet, and oversized drive-through doors up to 25 feet by 20 feet.
  • Built for big vehicles: crane coverage, door sizes, and bay dimensions across the campus accommodate full-size trucks, tanks, and superstructures.

End-to-end production capability

  • Fabrication, assembly, and processing: a 78,000 square foot main production building with seven overhead cranes up to 25 tons, 30-foot hook height, and twelve 25-foot by 20-foot overhead doors.
  • Assembly: a 24,000 square foot building with twelve production bays served by a central supply aisle and integrated fluid storage and distribution.
  • Paint and surface finishing: four large paint booths and one large sandblast booth, including a 20-foot by 100-foot heated (120 degree) paint booth and a 20-foot by 60-foot sandblast booth, sized for even the largest tanks.
  • Testing: a dedicated test complex with eleven bays, a 300,000-gallon water storage tank, and 14-to-18-inch water supply lines supporting high-volume tank water testing.
  • Shipping, receiving, and warehousing: 13,000 square feet of racked warehouse plus dedicated storage supporting just-in-time parts flow to the production floor.
  • Offices and customer experience: operations and sales offices with meeting rooms, a customer reception area, and a secure entrance with supplier meeting rooms outside the production area.

The full vehicle lifecycle on one site

Anderson supports complete truck assembly, from chassis preparation and powertrain and cabin installation through superstructure assembly, wiring, and plumbing and body and tank paint, and finish.

Quality sits at the center of the campus layout, with dedicated QC and chassis dyno capability before any vehicle ships. Repair and refurbishment capacity runs alongside new-build lines, backed by on-site propane Autogas fueling. Laydown yards and remaining campus acreage give Nexio room for phased expansion as volumes grow.

Location and logistics

The campus sits on Highway 30 in Grimes County, between College Station and Huntsville, roughly 80 miles from Houston’s IAH airport and 90 miles from the Port of Houston. Direct highway access supports inbound chassis and components and outbound finished vehicles, and the site sits inside an established East Texas industrial corridor.

Proximity to College Station also puts Nexio next door to Texas A&M and its technical talent pipeline, a factor in the company’s hiring plans for production, engineering, and quality roles.
