Former WHOOP and ŌURA Vice Presidents bring deep product and strategy expertise as Nanit continues building technology to help parents better understand their children.

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Nanit, the U.S.-based technology leader in early-childhood intelligence, trusted by more than one million families to provide real-time insight into their baby’s sleep, behavior, and development, today announced the addition of Alexi Coffey as SVP, Head of Product and Geoff Wylde as SVP, Head of Strategy.

Alexi Coffey (mom of two: Ayla, 3 years and Owen, 6 months) joins Nanit from WHOOP, where she served as VP of Product, helping evolve WHOOP from a product built primarily for athletes into a personalized health platform used by millions of people every day. During her tenure, she oversaw product expansion into new areas of health, including longevity and women’s health, introduced AI-powered personalized guidance, and launched WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG. At Nanit, she will lead product and design as the company expands how technology can help parents understand their children.

Geoff Wylde (dad of two: Hugo, 3 years and Laurel, 20 months) joins Nanit with deep experience at the intersection of technology, health, and human performance, most recently at ŌURA, where he helped translate biometric data into products and partnerships that expanded ŌURA’s reach and impact, giving people more insight into their health and wellbeing. Prior to ŌURA, Geoff worked at the World Economic Forum where he shaped policy and industrial strategy related to improving health and social impact of connected technologies. At Nanit, he will help shape the company’s strategy and next phase of growth.

“Nanit is building for a generation of parents who have more information than ever, but are still often left wondering what it all means,” said Nanit CEO Anushka Salinas. “Geoff and Alexi, Nanit parents themselves, understand what it takes to turn technology into something genuinely useful in people’s lives. As we continue to rethink what a baby monitor can be — and what technology can do for parents — their perspectives will be incredibly valuable. We’re thrilled to have them on the team and to build what comes next together.”

“Every parent I know, myself included, has stood over a crib in wonder and asked themselves how to give their child the best possible start. Those first years of life are the most consequential for childhood development and filled with the most questions for parents. As a long-time Nanit user, I’m so excited to join the company,” said Geoff Wylde. “Nanit is uniquely positioned to help parents better understand and connect with their young kids. Its leading market position, scientific foundations and culture of innovation mean we’re creating a new category of technology, one that equips parents to support their children through the years that matter most.”

“In the last five years, I have seen, professionally and personally, the power of consumer tech to turn a deep understanding of your body into guidance you can use every day. At Nanit, we have an extraordinary opportunity to help parents understand their children more deeply and feel more confident,” said Alexi Coffey. “Few experiences in life come with more questions, more uncertainty, or more love than becoming a parent. After years of using Nanit in my own family, I couldn’t be more excited to join the Nanit team to build products that strengthen the relationship between a parent and their child,”

New consumer technologies increasingly give adults unprecedented visibility into their own wellbeing – from physical activity and recovery to sleep and hormonal cycles. For adults, continuous health monitoring is becoming the norm: roughly 50% of Americans now use some form of health tracker (e.g. wearables). And yet, there remains relatively little continuous data around the most formative years of life (early childhood: 0-5 years old). Nanit is changing that. Nanit has evolved beyond the traditional baby monitor to create an early childhood intelligence platform that provides personalized insights across sleep, movement, speech, development, and overall wellbeing. The platform is designed to help parents better understand their child and address one of the most common questions in early parenthood: “Is this normal?”.

“The goal isn’t to replace parental instinct, but to strengthen it. By turning data into meaningful insights, Nanit helps parents better understand their child, feel more confident in the decisions they make, and stay connected through the earliest — and most consequential — years of development,” added Salinas.

Since launching in 2014, Nanit has focused on bringing sophisticated analytics into the home in a way that feels intuitive and useful in real life. Babies using Nanit’s current system sleep 10% longer on average, equivalent to 36 additional nights of rest for parents each year. And 70% of active families continue using Nanit beyond age four, a reflection of the company’s ability to remain relevant as children grow and their needs change.

As Nanit expands into AI-powered tools and deeper developmental insights, the company continues to prioritize privacy and security, with robust encryption and protections designed to safeguard the sensitive data families entrust to the platform.
