Recognition for New Model Development and Launch Readiness follows successful transition of five Nissan programs in six weeks
DETROIT, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Nagase America announced today that its Mobility Solutions division has received Nissan Americas’ 2026 Monozukuri Spirit Award for New Model Development and Launch Readiness, recognizing the team’s exceptional execution, collaboration and agility in supporting Nissan vehicle programs.
The award was presented September 25 at Nissan Americas’ annual Supplier Appreciation and Awards event at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee. Nissan’s annual awards recognize supplier partners for outstanding contributions across quality, operational excellence, innovation, aftersales support and sustainability. Nagase America was one of three companies recognized with the Monozukuri Spirit Award and was specifically honored for New Model Development and Launch Readiness.
The recognition follows Nagase America Mobility Solutions’ successful execution of a complex takeover project involving the transition of five Nissan programs within six weeks. The accelerated transition required close coordination across Nagase, Nissan and supply chain partners to maintain program continuity while meeting Nissan’s development and launch requirements.
