Experienced technology executive to lead enterprise data and AI strategy, advancing firm’s AI-native vision and data-driven future

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, architecture, consulting, and digital solutions, today announced that Subrata Saha has joined the firm as VP, Data and AI. In this role, Mr. Saha will spearhead the firm’s enterprise data and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, leading efforts to harness the power of emerging technologies to drive innovation across the organization and deliver greater value for clients. He will advance the platforms, standards, and capabilities needed to accelerate Michael Baker’s evolution as a technology-driven firm. Mr. Saha will champion the responsible and scalable adoption of AI, enabling new efficiencies, deeper insights, and transformative solutions across both enterprise operations and client-facing applications. He will establish companywide data governance standards that strengthen data quality, protect sensitive information, and create a trusted foundation for innovation, decision-making, and long-term growth. In addition, he will help strengthen strategic technology partnerships that support the firm’s continued advancement of data and AI capabilities.

Mr. Saha brings more than two decades of experience leading transformative data, AI, and technology initiatives across a range of industries, including energy, automotive, data centers, healthcare, telecommunications, and the public sector. Known for combining deep technical expertise with a strategic business perspective, he has built and led high-performing global teams responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and production-ready AI and data platforms that drive measurable business value.  Prior to joining Michael Baker, he served as Data & GenAI Architect and Practice Head at Capgemini. He previously held leadership positions with American Honda Motor Co. and Equinix Inc., and earlier in his career, held senior engineering and architecture roles with Autodesk, NEC Corporation of America, and GE Healthcare.

Mr. Saha earned a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Geo-Engineering and Petroleum Exploration from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
