Large Offering of Government Surplus and Contractor-Owned Fleet Vehicles, Trucks and Heavy Construction Equipment Will Be Sold to the Public at Bar None Auction’s California Locations
FRESNO, Calif., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A selection of government fleet vehicles and heavy construction equipment is headed to public auction as Bar None Auction prepares to sell large equipment packages from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Granite Construction out of their Sacramento and Fresno facilities this Saturday September 12th.
The Caltrans surplus fleet package – including work trucks, fleet vehicles and construction equipment – comes just one week after the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) brought a significant offering of vehicles and equipment to Bar None Auction’s Fontana facility, underscoring the company’s continued partnerships with public agencies across California. In addition to Caltrans and LADWP, Bar None Auction works with the California Department of General Services, the cities of Fremont and Sacramento, and numerous other state and local government agencies.

Auction Open to the Public
The auction is open to the public, and bidders do not need to be licensed equipment dealers to participate. Prospective buyers will be able to register for the auction, review inventory, equipment details, photographs and video, as well as bid at the Bar None Auction website. In-person preview days are also available at both the Fresno and Sacramento locations on Thursday September 10th and Friday September 11th.
