Lenexa Headquarters and Branch Moving to Two Separate Purpose-Built Facilities
LENEXA, Kan., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mainstreet Credit Union, a community credit union for nearly 75 years, today announced a new facility at 10910 W. 87th Street in Lenexa, Kan., that will serve as its Operations Center as of October 2026. Mainstreet’s Lenexa branch, which is currently co-located with the existing headquarters at 13001 W. 95th Street, will move to 9500 Lackman Road in Lenexa when renovation work is complete, estimated to be around year end.
The 87th Street Operations Center will bring together all Mainstreet departments currently housed across multiple locations, facilitating greater cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and continue Mainstreet’s tradition of premium member service. The new facility offers the credit union room to accommodate expected future growth.
The new Lackman Road branch will offer more private areas for confidential financial guidance for members, as well as dedicated spaces for financial-wellness classes and educational workshops. Additionally, these rooms will be made available to local groups and organizations as part of Mainstreet’s ongoing community engagement efforts.
