The Fluffy Bus Collection, A Special Chip Foose Community Build, Road Kings of Burbank, DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 Road Tour and Tripp Burgers join 10 days of automotive experiences
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In Los Angeles, car culture has never been just about the car. It lives at the intersection of entertainment, art, food, gaming, collecting, and community. For 2026, the Los Angeles Auto Show® (LA Auto Show) is bringing more of those worlds together, adding a new lineup of lifestyle experiences alongside hundreds of new vehicles, test drives, and the automotive culture that fills nearly one million square feet of the show. The 2026 LA Auto Show runs Nov. 20 through 29 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
From five personal Volkswagen buses hand-selected by comedian and renowned VW collector Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias to a community restoration project born from the Eaton Fire that ravaged the local community in Altadena, a legendary car club, one of gaming’s most recognizable anime franchises, and an LA cult-favorite burger destination, the first activations announced for this year’s show celebrate the diverse stories and communities that bring people together through a shared love of the passions that move us.
“Los Angeles car culture has always been bigger than what we drive,” said Terri Toennies, President of the Los Angeles Auto Show. “It is part of our entertainment, our art, what we collect, what we eat, the games we play, and the communities we build. These experiences give people even more ways to find something they connect with at the show, whether they came to shop for their next vehicle or simply spend the day immersed in everything that makes Los Angeles automotive culture unlike anywhere else.”
FLUFFY BRINGS FIVE FAVORITES FROM HIS VW BUS COLLECTION
Southern California native Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is bringing a piece of his famous Volkswagen Type 2 Bus collection to the LA Auto Show, personally selecting five of his favorite VW buses for fans to experience up close at The Fluffy Bus Collection.
Iglesias has built one of the country’s most recognizable collections of classic Volkswagen buses, making his passion for the brand’s iconic vehicle nearly as synonymous with Fluffy as his comedy. His exhibit at the show connects celebrity, collecting and Southern California’s enduring VW culture in a way that is uniquely Los Angeles.
Iglesias is planning multiple meet-and-greets with fans on select days throughout the 10-day show and the exhibit will also play host to the Pocho Fino Lounge, showcasing his new tequila brand and adding another dimension of his personal story to the experience.
FROM THE EATON FIRE, A COMMUNITY STORY GETS BACK ON THE ROAD
One of the most emotive vehicles at this year’s show is the product of a collaboration between aerial firefighting specialist Coulson Aviation and legendary automotive designer Chip Foose. They partnered to help the communities devastated by the 2025 wildfires, which deeply impacted Los Angeles residents.
Following the fire, Coulson Aviation and Foose came together in effort to restore a vehicle for a member of the affected communities. The selection process was launched at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show and involved a public vote to help determine what vehicle would be restored. At this year’s Show, the owner will be reunited with their cherished Chevrolet Delray for the first time after the year-long process. The completed vehicle will be showcased at the LA Auto Show, recognizing the people and partners who helped bring it back to life.
More than a custom build, the vehicle represents the role cars can play in people’s lives beyond transportation: as memories, personal history, and a passion that unites us all.
ROAD KINGS OF BURBANK CELEBRATE 75 YEARS
One of Southern California’s most legendary car clubs, the Road Kings of Burbank, will showcase more than 20 classic cars, custom hot rods, and vintage muscle cars at the Los Angeles Auto Show in celebration of its upcoming 75th anniversary. Founded in 1952, the club helped shape Southern California’s hot rod and drag racing culture, with a storied history that includes racing legends Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, “TV Tommy” Ivo, Jimmy Miles, Bob Muravez, famously known by his racing alias Floyd Lippencott Jr., and Tom Jandt. Beyond its automotive legacy, the Road Kings have spent decades giving back to the Burbank community through charitable car shows and support for local organizations. The special showcase celebrates generations of craftsmanship, individuality and automotive passion, offering visitors a firsthand look at the people and vehicles that helped define Los Angeles car culture.
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 ROAD TOUR MAKES LA AUTO SHOW STOP
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 Road Tour will make a stop at LA Auto Show where visitors can play a demo of the game, coming in 2027. DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 is a completely new Dragon Ball experience, where players decide the hero they want to be in an unexplored Dragon Ball world: AGE 1000. Visitors can play the demo, take a photo in AGE 1000 and receive some exclusive goodies.
Organizers envision the activation reflecting on the increasingly blurred lines between automotive culture, gaming and entertainment, where digital and physical communities often share the same passion for design, customization, performance, and self-expression.
TRIPP BURGERS BRINGS A CULT LA FAVORITE TO THE SHOW
Cars and burgers have shared a place in Southern California culture for generations, and Tripp Burgers will bring its cult following to the show floor in 2026.
The Los Angeles burger pop-up has built its reputation around a simple menu, custom grind and a passionate local following. Its presence adds another distinctly LA layer to the show, bringing together two longtime Southern California traditions: gathering around cars and gathering around great food.
ALL ROADS LEAD HERE
Together, the experiences reinforce what has always made the Los Angeles Auto Show different. New vehicles and car shopping remain at its center, but the passion surrounding them extends in every direction, and with many more lifestyle attractions to be announced soon.
The 2026 Los Angeles Auto Show runs Nov. 20–29, 2026. Across 10 days, attendees can explore hundreds of the newest cars, trucks, SUVs, hybrids and EVs, experience indoor and outdoor test drives, discover custom builds and Southern California car culture and connect with experiences spanning entertainment, lifestyle, technology and community.
