L.A. Film School Alumni Make Their Mark Across the 2026 Emmy Awards

Alumni contributed to 41 Emmy-nominated productions, including 32 that took home wins across television’s biggest categories.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As the 2026 Emmy Awards celebrated another year of outstanding television, alumni of The Los Angeles Film School were among the entertainment professionals contributing to many of this year’s recognized productions.

Celebrating 20 years of academic excellence in 2019

L.A. Film School alumni were credited across 41 nominated productions, with 44 individual alumni credits spanning 218 Emmy nominations. Of those productions, 13 received at least one Emmy win and combined for 32 total wins, highlighting the range of roles alumni hold throughout the entertainment industry.

Among the year’s biggest winners were The Pitt and Pluribus, each earning six Emmy wins. Alumnus Alexander Jongbloed was nominated as part of The Pitt‘s sound mixing team, while Mitchell Gebhard worked as first assistant sound and boom operator on Pluribus‘ winning sound mixing team.

Other Emmy-winning productions featuring L.A. Film School alumni included The Muppet Show, where Raul Perez worked as a loader; Margo’s Got Money Troubles, where Márk Faragó worked as a finishing artist; and Fallout, where Brice Bradley worked as a gaffer on the show’s volume stage.

On Hacks, alumni Jamiel VanOver and Yermin “Randy” Garcia worked in the camera and electrical departments, while Stephanie Goldstein worked as an assistant editor. Ira Parker serves as showrunner and executive producer of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and was individually nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

Alumni contributions also extended to a variety of other Emmy-recognized productions. Damian Drago contributed as a digital artist on Stranger Things, while Neiko Nagy worked as a compositor on The Diplomat‘s visual effects team.

Beyond the winning productions, L.A. Film School alumni contributed to a number of Emmy-nominated productions, including Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, Euphoria, and more.

This year’s alumni credits reflect the many paths available to entertainment professionals and the range of disciplines that come together to bring stories to audiences. The Los Angeles Film School celebrates the continued work of its alumni as they build careers and contribute to the next generation of film, television, and entertainment.

About The Los Angeles Film School

The Los Angeles Film School is an accredited higher education institution located in the heart of Hollywood. The school has served the community and its students since 1999.
