Kling Brothers Entertainment premiere debuted with cast, crew and community supporters to celebrate Central Florida’s growing independent film community
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Things I Didn’t Do, the independent psychological thriller series created by filmmaker Thiago Kling, premiered Saturday, Aug. 8, at Regal Winter Park Village & RPX, welcoming a full-capacity audience for the debut of its pilot.
Presented by Kling Brothers Entertainment in collaboration with the Orlando Film Commission, the premiere brought together the series’ cast, crew, filmmakers, media and community supporters for an evening celebrating the years of work behind the production.
Originally conceived in 2015, The Things I Didn’t Do was ultimately brought to life in Central Florida, with local talent and production partners contributing to the project on both sides of the camera. The premiere offered an opportunity to recognize that collaborative effort while spotlighting the region’s established and emerging film community.

Directed by Fernando Tosetti, whose work has earned numerous honors, including Best Director at Campus Movie Fest (2019), Best Editing from Orlando Independent Filmmakers (2021), Best Cinematography from the Organization of Independent Filmmakers (2025), a Silver Telly Award for Videography (2026) and a Best Picture nomination at the Hollywood Florida Film Festival, the series brings together an accomplished creative team. Written by Julia Antuerpem, a former Disney, Globo and Netflix writer, Harvard-trained creative writer and author of award-winning screenplays recognized with more than 60 international honors.
The series follows Ethan, a withdrawn teenager struggling to find his place in the world. To cope with feelings of isolation, Ethan fills a secret notebook with disturbing drawings imagining the deaths of those who have hurt him. When the notebook disappears and the people inside it begin dying exactly as he imagined, Ethan is pulled into a chilling mystery that forces him to question what is real and who can be trusted.
Following its Orlando premiere, The Things I Didn’t Do begins its next chapter as the filmmakers explore opportunities to continue production and bring the full series to life for new audiences.
