LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Gold House, the cultural platform shaping global opportunity, honored the multicultural nominees of the 78th Emmy® Awards at its annual One House Toast to the Emmys® on Thursday, September 10, at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. The One House Toast is a celebration of multicultural excellence in television and media, convening over 200 creatives and artists, including Emmy-nominees from BEEF, Bridgerton, The Pitt, Abbott Elementary, and others, as well as industry leaders and creators. This year’s event was made possible by presenting sponsor Chase Sapphire Reserve for BusinessSM, exclusive automotive partner Genesis Motor America, lead media partner Variety, Asian entertainment streamer Viki, and WME.
Netflix’s BEEF had another historic awards season with 16 nominations, including nods for executive producer, writer, and director Lee Sung Jin, Charles Melton, and Youn Yuh-jung. Their nominations are joined by Sepideh Moafi (The Pitt), who became the first Iranian woman nominated for an Emmy, and members of The Pitt‘s cast, including Kristin Villanueva and Amielynn Abellera.
Notable guests included Lee Sung Jin, The Pitt’s executive producer Simran Baidwan, Street Fighter director Kitao Sakurai, Creative Arts Emmy winner Sang Kim, Seoyeon Jang, Dante Basco, Dolly de Leon, Will Yun Lee, Leah Lewis, Monica Padman, Tal Anderson, Gurinder Chadha, Albert Cheng, Justin Chien, Hanelle M. Culpepper, Percy Daggs IV, Fiona Dourif, Edwin Lee Gibson, Chin Han, Ryan Alexander Holmes, Scott and Mark Hoying, Madison Hu, Gia Kim, Ken Kirby, Hiro Koda, Raymond Lee, Michelle Mao, Dana Ledoux Miller, Minnie Mills, Daniella Monet, Yoko Okumura, Monica Padman, Brandon Perea, Huma Qureshi, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Saagar Shaikh, Joanna Sotomora, Regan To, Kristin Villanueva, Cole Walliser, Janet Yang, Hanbit Yi, Phinehas Yoon, and many others.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a custom portrait studio presented by Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, an exclusive photo experience featuring the all-new Genesis GV90 from Genesis Motor America, and a custom BEEF-themed food-and-beverage experience presented by WME. Variety returns as the Toast’s lead media partner for the third year.
“Gold House has meant a lot to my journey and BEEF’s journey. These events are fun, but it’s also a place of true community. Having people here to support makes a difference; you never know who you’ll run into or what conversation turns into what. I’m really grateful that we get to do this and do it together,” said Lee.
“In a week when several whistleblowers are warning that new technologies can decimate our species by the end of the decade, it is hybridized, undefinable-by-a-single-genre art like BEEF that reminds us of what most makes us human, of our fallacies, and our right to exist. On platforms and spaces, when people try to flatten us into one thing, it is polymathical, multi-skilled creators who don’t just write, who don’t just produce, who don’t just direct, but do it all to create historic pieces of art that remind us what it takes to get this far. And it is in our own lives that we’re reminded that when things get toughest, we take our broken hearts and turn them into art. That reminds us why we are still here—and why we must stay.” said Bing Chen, Executive Chairman and CEO of Gold House.
Jazz Tangcay, Senior Artisans Editor at Variety, ended the remarks by urging the crowd to “[p]lease keep telling your stories because… it means so much to see our faces on [television].”
The One House Toast continues Gold House’s commitment to advancing Asian Pacific representation in entertainment. This year’s celebration builds on the organization’s Gold List for Film and Gold List for TV honoring Asian Pacific excellence, and its ongoing industry-leading consultation, investment, and marketing partnerships across film and television to ensure opening weekend success. Its platform now includes the recently launched Gold House Studios, which provides development and financing for Asian Pacific-led films, series, and IP. Through these initiatives, Gold House continues to empower and enable affirming and authentic portrayals of Asian Pacific and multicultural voices in front of and behind the camera.
