Independent platform reads the full OPRA tape in real time and is already in trial on broker-dealer desks
TUCKAHOE, N.Y., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Harmeet Goindi, CFA, former Chief Data Officer of Trade Alert, the options-flow analytics firm Cboe Global Markets acquired in 2020, today announced Mercury Alerts, an independent real-time options intelligence platform built for professional trading desks.
The launch follows Cboe’s retirement of Trade Alert on October 30, which left thousands of professional users without a desk-grade alternative. Mercury Alerts has been live since October 1 with OPRA vendor approval and is in trial on broker-dealer and institutional desks that made the switch.
Mercury Alerts reads every options print on the consolidated tape as it happens, classifies it as a sweep, block, unusual trade or multi-leg spread, scores it, and delivers alerts by each desk’s own rules. Desks can set triggers on size, premium, ticker, strategy and context, and query the flow from their own tools through a REST API and an AI connector.
