dxScript Gives Indicator Businesses a Path to Build Beyond Closed Trading Ecosystems

New rules for commercial trading scripts highlight a growing need for modular technology that allows indicator creators and fintech businesses to build on their own terms

NEW YORK, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — dxFeed, a global provider of market data and financial technology solutions, highlighted dxScript as a modular scripting solution for indicator creators, fintech companies, brokers, and trading technology providers looking to build custom analytics and strategies into their own platforms.

The opportunity comes as the market for commercial trading indicators undergoes significant change. From November 1, 2026, TradingView will require commercial access to invite-only scripts to be distributed through its Marketplace, with external sales of access to those scripts no longer permitted.

For indicator businesses, the change brings a broader question into focus: should commercial trading tools live inside someone else’s platform, or can creators build and control the product experience themselves?

Building an independent trading product has traditionally presented a significant technical challenge. User interfaces, payments, charting, market data, and other capabilities can increasingly be assembled from specialized technology components. Developing and maintaining a proprietary scripting environment, however, requires a very different level of expertise and investment.

dxScript addresses that gap
Unlike scripting languages designed exclusively as part of a complete trading platform, dxScript can be integrated as a standalone building block into an existing product. Businesses can add the ability to create and run custom indicators and strategies without replacing their existing platform or building a scripting language and its supporting infrastructure from scratch.

This approach gives indicator businesses and fintech companies greater flexibility over how their products are built, distributed, and presented to customers. They can retain control of their own user experience, branding, commercial model, and technology stack while adding sophisticated scripting capabilities to their platforms.

dxScript also incorporates an AI Agent that allows trading logic to be expressed in natural language and translated into executable scripts. Rather than requiring every trader or product creator to become a programmer, the workflow allows users to focus on defining market logic and refining their ideas while the AI Agent handles much of the translation into code.

“Trading technology is moving toward a more modular model, where businesses should be able to choose the capabilities they need without replacing everything they have already built,” said Denis Krivolapov, Product Manager for dxScript at dxFeed. “Scripting should be one of those building blocks. dxScript gives businesses the ability to add sophisticated scripting to their own products while retaining control over the experience they want to create for their customers.”

For commercial indicator creators, this opens another possible path as distribution models evolve: rather than choosing between building scripting technology internally and operating entirely within an existing trading ecosystem, they can use dxScript as the scripting component of their own product.

Indicator creators, fintech companies, and trading platform providers looking to build beyond closed ecosystems can learn more about dxScript and request a demo to explore how its scripting capabilities can be integrated into their own products.
