NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Disney Experiences is inviting New Yorkers to discover the magic of Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge through an expansive 3D street mural in Flatiron Plaza.
WHAT: Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, the newest resort hotel coming to Walt Disney World will celebrate the beauty of nature as seen through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers. Street artist Tracy Lee Stum has created a preview of this serene retreat through a 3D mural inspired by Daydream River, the resort’s blissful lazy river. Guests can step into this eye-catching sidewalk image to capture photos and video of themselves enjoying one of the resort’s relaxing signature experiences.
WHEN: Today, Oct. 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: The corner of 23rd Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan
THE ARTIST: The installation is created by acclaimed American street muralist Tracy Lee Stum, known for her colorful, interactive 3D chalk art. Stum has received numerous awards and accolades for her work around the globe, including a 2006 Guinness World Record for the largest chalk painting by an individual.

Opening July 1, 2027, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be a waterfront retreat along the shores of Bay Lake, celebrating the beauty and magic of nature through the artistry of Disney storytelling.
