Description: This trail takes walkers through the border city of Alcoutim, allowing for the discovery of iconic landmarks in the area including the Castle of Alcoutim, the ruins of the Old Castle, the Praia Fluvial, and the landscapes of the River Guadiana. There is also the chance to cross over to the other side of the river and visit the Spanish town of Sanlúcar del Guadiana.

Description: Starting in Monchique, this circular scenic route winds through traditional agricultural valleys, forests and charming local settlements. Walkers can enjoy panoramic views, historic paths, birdlife and cultural landmarks, including the village of São Roque and the Monchique market area, before returning to the starting point.

Start and end: Furnazinhas

Description: This itinerary interconnects with the Via Algarviana. Setting off from Furnazinhas, it takes hikers past Barranco da Balsa, Barranco da Maria Galega, Cortelha, Barranco da Chã de Lavajo and Barranco do Monte before returning to Furnazinhas. There is the chance to come into close contact with nature and crosses various areas with water, whilst discovering the cultural and natural heritage of the eastern Algarve.
