At Dallas event, educators and business leaders explored how AI can expand access to personalized guidance, mentorship and knowledge
DALLAS, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Gooru AI, a Dallas-based artificial intelligence company, demonstrated how its Digital Gooru platform can help individuals and organizations extend their expertise to more people during an Oct. 26 event at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Bringing together leaders in technology, education and business, the event highlighted how AI-powered representatives can expand access to personalized guidance, mentorship and specialized knowledge without requiring experts to be personally available for every interaction.
Digital Goorus are AI-powered representatives built from an individual’s or organization’s existing knowledge and customized to reflect its expertise, personality and voice. They answer questions, teach, mentor and guide users across digital channels, helping organizations extend their reach while preserving the human knowledge and perspective behind their work.
The platform addresses a growing challenge for experts and organizations – meeting increasing demand for information and personalized support with limited time and resources. Gooru AI calls its approach Attention Intelligence — making the knowledge and guidance of trusted individuals and organizations accessible whenever people need it.
During the event, Raamel Mitchell, co-founder and CEO of Gooru AI, and other speakers discussed how the technology could expand access to education, mentorship and specialized knowledge. Dr. Cesare Wright, founder of the Kino-Eye Center, highlighted the potential to extend his educational work far beyond the students he can reach through in-person experiences alone.
“We’ve had about 50,000 students come through that program, which to some people sounds impressive, but to me that’s a drop in the bucket. What if we could make that 500,000, 5 million, 50 million students?” said Wright. “I can only be in so many places. Gooru extends that in a way that allows me to share some element of a personalized experience of what I do with potentially millions of students.”
Organizations and leaders already using Gooru AI include the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field; Dallas business leader and former 7-Eleven and Blockbuster CEO Jim Keyes, author of Education Is Freedom; author and educator Stedman Graham; and Wright.
“I’m always looking for ways to extend the impact of my work beyond my books, speaking engagements and workshops,” said Graham, an author, educator and identity leadership expert. “Gooru AI creates an opportunity to continue the conversation after an event, helping people revisit the ideas and insights they’ve received and connect them to their own experiences, goals and challenges.”
Digital Goorus: Personalized Attention at Scale
Digital Goorus are built from an individual’s or organization’s existing knowledge, including documents, websites, frequently asked questions, standard operating procedures, policies, training materials and workflows. They can be customized to reflect a creator’s personality, tone, voice and guardrails.
The platform works across chat, voice, websites and native applications to answer questions, guide people through processes, support conversations and help users take the next step, including booking appointments and scheduling meetings.
Potential applications span a wide range of industries and settings, including nonprofits, K-12 and higher education, healthcare, influencers and content creators, hospitality and events, corporate and business-to-business and internal teams.
Branded AI Platforms Extend Organizations’ Reach
The Gooru AI Partner Portal enables universities, coaches, training companies, creators, enterprises, associations and communities to launch AI-powered knowledge platforms under their own brands and domains. Partners have access to tools for deploying Digital Goorus, managing users, offering subscriptions, reviewing analytics and sharing revenue, while Gooru AI operates the underlying AI infrastructure.
The Frontiers of Flight Museum is exploring how the technology can extend its educational mission and make aviation and aerospace knowledge more accessible beyond its physical location. The museum served approximately 68,000 students last year and projects serving more than 75,000 this year.
During the event, Cameron Hernholm, Chief Advancement Officer at Frontiers of Flight Museum, discussed how digital experiences can help students connect with aviation and STEM role models, particularly those who may not otherwise see themselves represented in these fields. The museum has used digital twins of aviation figures, including pioneer Bessie Coleman, to create additional opportunities for engagement beyond its exhibits.
“What I have continuously found is that without those models, those mirrors, a lot of young girls don’t necessarily think there’s a space for them,” said Hernholm. “Having that digital twin that’s accessible outside these four walls is just remarkable.”
