CrashBay’s digital platform offers Zurich customers fully managed, end-to-end coordination of collision repair services through its vetted nationwide repair network.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CrashBay has entered into a new collaboration with Zurich U.S., offering a direct repair program to Zurich’s commercial auto and auto dealership customers with property & casualty insurance policies. The program went live in June, routing collision claims to qualified repair facilities nationwide.

CrashBay is a digital platform that connects every side of the collision repair industry: insurance carriers, fleets, OEMs, third-party administrators, and repair shops. CrashBay matches carrier and fleet repair needs with a vetted repair network and manages the work, the payments, and the customer experience through to completion.

With the addition of CrashBay, Zurich policyholders can now access the CrashBay repair network when choosing where and how a vehicle gets repaired – from the moment a repair is assigned through completion.

CrashBay operates as the coordination infrastructure for the collision repair industry. It connects insurance carriers and fleets that need trusted repair capacity with a vetted network of independent and certified shops, then manages the work, the payments, and the customer experience through to completion. The model goes well beyond a traditional direct repair program. CrashBay handles the support functions that conventional programs typically push back onto the repair shop, including customer service, rental coordination, supplement handling, follow-ups, digital payments and inspections. The result is a fast, transparent and consistent repair experience for the policyholder, and the shop.

“Carriers like Zurich are exactly who we built CrashBay for,” said John Harvey, founder of CrashBay. “They have customers who need fast, reliable, high-quality repairs and want a large, versatile network of repair facilities across markets. We connect their customers with a vetted repair network and manage the entire experience, so the carrier gets an outstanding outcome and the customer gets an outstanding repair.”

For Zurich, the program offers its P&C customers a new option for collision repair services and claims handling for its customer fleet vehicles of all kinds, including sales fleets, delivery vans, rental, car dealership demos, etc.

“This collaboration with CrashBay is really about the customer experience,” said Todd Wiley, V.P., Head of General Liability & Auto Claims for Zurich U.S. “Our P&C fleet customers now have access to CrashBay’s seamless, end-to-end repair coordination; and our Claims adjusters have a trusted advisor to keep the process on track to a successful completion. The early response from our teams and our customers has been very positive. We look forward to increased use of this technology to ensure better outcomes for our customers.”

The CrashBay program reflects a broader shift in collision claims, where carriers and fleets increasingly want managed-repair and coordination. For Zurich’s commercial customers, access to a direct repair program is now a built-in part of doing business with the carrier.

About CrashBay

CrashBay is a platform that connects every side of the collision repair industry: insurance carriers, fleets, OEMs, third-party administrators, and repair shops. CrashBay is independent: it does not own repair facilities and does not perform repairs. Instead, it matches carrier and fleet repair needs with a vetted repair network and manages the work, the payments, and the customer experience through to completion. By delivering fully managed, end-to-end coordination, CrashBay fills the gaps that traditional direct repair programs leave behind, giving carriers an outstanding claims outcome, giving shops steady and well-supported volume, and giving customers a fast, transparent repair.
