New members including SoftBank Corp. and Crusoe join the cloud native community to help build cost-efficient, sovereign infrastructure
SHANGHAI, Sept. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Cloud Native Computing Foundation® (CNCF®), which builds sustainable ecosystems for cloud native software, today announced the addition of nine new Silver members, including telecommunications leader SoftBank Corp. and AI infrastructure provider Crusoe, reinforcing the continued momentum of cloud native adoption across industries and further strengthening the foundation’s global community. This cohort, spanning telecommunications, AI infrastructure, cloud hosting, infrastructure efficiency, autonomous code optimization, sovereign infrastructure, and open source data retrieval, joins the nearly 800 members and over 300,000 contributors across more than 250 projects and 190 countries in the cloud native ecosystem.

New Silver Members
The following organizations have recently joined CNCF as Silver Members:
- AlphaBravo provides Kubernetes lifecycle management, hardened containers, and platform training solutions for teams operating in connected and disconnected environments.
- Ascendra Networks brings live vertical scaling to virtual machines and Kubernetes nodes, enabling organizations to achieve up to 5x higher compute efficiency from existing on-premises and reserved capacity while reducing cloud costs by over 70% for agentic workstations, stateful applications, and HPC clusters.
