Veteran finance executive brings more than 35 years of financial, commercial, and operational leadership experience
CHICAGO, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Charter Next Generation (CNG), a leading provider of material science solutions, today announced that Todd Herndon has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Herndon brings more than 35 years of financial, commercial, and operational leadership experience across global industrial and consumer manufacturing businesses. Most recently, he served as CFO of Consilio, a global leader in legal technology solutions and enterprise legal services.

Previously, Herndon held leadership roles with Diversey, now part of Solenis; Gardner Denver, now part of Ingersoll Rand; and Capital Safety, and began his career with S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. He also brings extensive experience working with leading private equity firms, including KKR, Bain Capital, CD&R, and Stone Point Capital.
As CFO, Herndon will lead CNG’s Finance organization and play a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, capital allocation, and operating discipline. He will serve on CNG’s Executive Leadership Team, report directly to Bolhous, and be based at the company’s Chicago headquarters.
