LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — City National Bank today announced the appointment of Chad Lloyd as senior vice president and head of RBC U.S. Mortgage, leading mortgage strategy and delivery nationally. Lloyd reports to David Cameron, chief operating officer of City National.
RBC U.S. Mortgage brings together City National’s high-touch relationship banking capabilities with RBC’s scale and reach to provide best-in-class mortgage solutions to RBC and City National clients across the U.S. In this role, Lloyd leads the team responsible for the development and delivery of mortgage and home equity lending products and services that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of RBC and City National clients.
Lloyd brings to City National over 25 years of experience leading large-scale lending organizations across mortgage, consumer and business banking. Most recently, he was senior vice president and director of Consumer & Business Lending at Comerica Bank, where he oversaw $11 billion in diversified lending portfolios. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Truist Financial in various senior leadership roles, including head of transformation during the SunTrust and BB&T merger integration and head of consumer product delivery.
