The first limited-time offering under the brand’s new cooked-to-order standard brings a third pound, bolder 100% Angus beef burger to the menu

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Carl’s Jr. is putting mediocre fast-food burgers on notice. Today, the brand launches its Burger Revolution — a new, systemwide cooked-to-order initiative designed to deliver hotter, fresher and more consistently craveable burgers — with the debut of the Angus Maximus.

The first limited-time offering under the brand’s new cooked-to-order standard brings a third pound, bolder 100% Angus beef burger to the menu.

  • Available at $5.99 for a limited time at participating locations, the Angus Maximus is the first LTO item to launch under the Burger Revolution.
  • It features two charbroiled, 100% Angus beef patties seasoned with Carl’s Jr.’s signature blend, melted American cheese, sliced onions, dill pickles and special sauce, all served on a buttery toasted brioche bun.
  • At 5.7 ounces, the Angus Maximus delivers 100% Angus beef at $1.05 per ounce, making it a standout value and quality among major fast-food burger offerings.

Carl’s Jr. is incentivizing new My Rewards members with a free Angus Maximus with any purchase at sign-up. The limited-time offer, running now through Oct. 27, is designed to introduce customers to the brand’s new cooked-to-order standard.

“Carl’s Jr. has never been in the business of serving burgers that are just good enough,” said Iwona Alter, brand president for Carl’s Jr. “The Burger Revolution and our shift to a cooked-to-order process represent our commitment to raising the standard across the entire Carl’s Jr. experience. The Angus Maximus is the perfect burger to lead that charge, bringing two charbroiled 100% Angus beef patties, bold flavor and the quality and value our guests deserve.”

For 85 years, Carl’s Jr. has built its reputation on bold, flavorful burgers and an unapologetic belief that guests should not have to choose between quality, flavor and value. This bold operations transformation builds on that legacy, responding to guest feedback with a meaningful shift designed to make every Carl’s Jr. burger experience better, from the first bite to the last.

Rather than relying on traditional holding systems that can compromise temperature and texture, Carl’s Jr. burgers begin cooking after a guest places an order and are served hot and fresh from the char broiler. The cooked-to-order standard marks the next chapter in the brand’s commitment to memorable flavor and satisfying burgers, beginning with the Angus Maximus.
